M[***],

There are several projects south and north of the proposed Route 28 project that are approved and funded:

Also, below is traffic related information regarding the I-66 Outside the Beltway Project:

Interchange Justification Report  (Please see page 71 for the traffic analysis summary): http://outside.transform66.org/documents/FinalTier2EnvironmentalAssessment/InterchangeJustificationReportWebsiteAugust2016Docs/Interchange%20Justification%20Report%20-%20Full%20Document%20(August%202016).pdf

[Seems to me expectations for I-66's future performance, especially the free lanes, should be revisited after 395's disappointments.]

Hi Mr. Belita,

Thank you very much for helping me understand the Route 28 widening proposal better, and quickly!

That Route 28 study document looks helpful and will take me some time to digest.  Nice to see our transportation department has been systematic and diligent!

For now, can you please direct me to, if readily available:

(1) something about whether the Rt. 28 improvements north and south of the area for the bond project are fully approved, funded, and probably going to happen soon?

and

(2) any similar study about I-66 traffic flow expectations on the toll and free lanes, before and after the toll lanes get finished?

Thanks very much,
